The 221A Fellowship is an 18-month (non-residential) studio-placement award. With a focus on artists from historically excluded communities, the program will provide a $72,000 CAD stipend and studio space for three artists—making it one of the most generous studio-placement awards in Canada.
Hosted at a newly upgraded facility at 825 Pacific, each Fellowship will culminate in online and in-person cultural outputs , including talks, exhibitions, workshops, film screenings, podcasts, and digital prints.
