ARTIST STATEMENT
What is at the heart of the forest? Quiet, peace, shelter, secret animal life….a fantasy or a reality? Earth’s forests are dwindling at an alarming rate. Do they need our protection or will nature eventually prevail? Love is the heart, the heart is love.
Trees, leaves, branches, trunks, light, shadow – all are part of the heart. Each artist uses different techniques, styles and sizes to portray our passionate connection to the forest. Our medium is soft…..soft art at the heart…..of a forest on top of a hill in New Westminster, BC.
