You are invited to the exciting exhibition, Spirit of the Northwest, by artist Dee Spencer at the Arts Council Gallery
July 1st to 27th
Dee Spencer is a Native Daughter of New Westminster. She was always interested in the Arts, specifically Native Art, seriously pursued the classic style of the Northwest Coast.
Dee studied Native Art under the esteemed tutelage of Glen Wood of the Gitenmaax school of the Northwest Coast Art in Hazelton BC. Dee is a member of the Nova Heritage Metis Association.
“My objective is to expose the community to this unique style of Art so that the youth of today will be aware of the very special people who pioneered this beautiful province in which we live.”
The Exhibit is July 1 – 27, 1 to 5pm Tuesday to Sunday, closed Mondays.
Artist reception is Sunday July 7, 1 – 4.
