Arts New West is excited to announce the Gallery at Queen’s Park will be hosting our third annual Winter Solstice Community Exhibition during the month of December.
The Winter Solstice exhibition looks to embrace this magical season. The short days and long nights of Winter are imbued with moody ambiance and spiritual significance. It is a time for contemplation, but also for celebration.
We are currently inviting local artists to contribute an 8″ x 8″ or 10″x10″ or 12×12 new or existing piece to be included in the exhibition. Each submitted piece will fit into the theme of Winter Solstice and be an opportunity to share your vision of this winter celebration. Everyone is welcome to submit a piece.
*If you participated in this event last year, please be aware that we will not accept the same submission
* all mediums will be considered.

- Deadline for art to be submitted is November 22, 2024
- Participating artists have the option of selling their piece (all proceeds to be given to the artist–we kindly ask that you consider donating 10%-15% or proceeds to Arts New West)
- An opening event and public programming will accompany this exhibition throughout the month of December.
