A curated market that showcases the work of local makers and artisans.
New West Craft Indigenous market
A vibrant celebration of Indigenous culture and creativity. Presented by Shop First Nations, Arts New West and Native Art Renaissance.
Expressions of Reclamation
The opportunity to learn from Indigenous artists and witness how artists use their creativity and artistic expression to reclaim their identity and connect with who they are.
Summer Busking program
Corners around New West were livened with street performer of various kinds.
Poetry in the Park
Experience poetry at the Queen’s Park bandshell every Wednesday evening.

Bridges Literary Fest
Discover a love for all things literary with words and stories from our river city.
Presented in collaboration with partners: Arts New West, Groove Cat Books and Records, Kinder Books, Moodswing Coffee + Bar, New Westminster Public Library, New West Writers, Royal City Literary Arts Society, SFU Writer’s Studio, Steel & Oak Brewing Co., and Wildfires Bookshop.
Summer sketching by the River
Drop in to try out your sketching skills on Tuesdays in July, outside River Market.

Catch concerts in the park on Thursdays and Sundays, with shows running all of July.
Art in Moody Park
Through July and August, local artists facilitate instructor-led art projects or enjoy live music by local musicians.
