Annual General Meeting

Special speaker: Kevin Dale McKeown, Director of Community Engagement for BC Alliance for Arts + Culture.
Kevin will be speaking on his experience of facilitating Community Cultural Roundtables for the BC Creative Convergence. From early March to late May 2015, the BC Alliance for Arts + Culture and ArtsBC held a province-wide series of Community Cultural Roundtables. These Roundtables were part of the BC Creative Convergence project launched by the Alliance for Arts + Culture in 2013. The Community Cultural Roundtable series provided an opportunity for community members to bring personal, local, and regional perspectives to this important provincial initiative. www.bccreativeconvergence.ca
The Arts Council of New Westminster is proud to début the New Westminster Cultural Roundtable at our 2015 Annual General Meeting. This series will be a recurring event in 2016 that will break down barriers in the arts community of New Westminster and work towards supporting the 2008 Arts Strategy of integrating the arts even deeper into our city’s culture. This event will be open for everyone to participate.
After our formal AGM (3pm – 4pm), please plan to stay for a wine and cheese social (4pm to 5pm).
