The City of New Westminster is hosting the Rogers Hometown Hockey event February 13 and 14 in Queen’s Park. As part of this event there will be substantial traffic flow changes within Queen’s Park starting Thursday February 11 until February 14.
Please be aware:
- When entering off 1st Street vehicles will be directed to the right into a newly created lane. This lane will force them to go down beside the stadium and around the tennis courts. They will then be able to access the road beside the arena and continue on to the Lodge.
- When leaving the Centennial Lodge, vehicles should continue through the park and exit onto 6th Avenue.
- Vehicles will not be able to drive back beside the arena (this will be a one way road for the 4 days)
- Any vehicles entering the park on Saturday or Sunday should expect extremely heavy traffic and limited parking.
