The Arts Council of New Westminster is pleased to have received a donation of artworks by Robert King Courtney to the ACNW Permanent Collection by Sean Courtney. We are excited to share the legacy of Robert’s work with the community of New Westminster and exhibit his artwork at The Gallery at Queen’s Park for future generations to enjoy.
Robert King Courtney was born and raised in New Westminster in 1921 and served in World War 2 with the New Westminster Regiment. Robert exhibited at The Gallery at Queen’s Park in 1990 and participated in the ACNW Art Rental program throughout the 1990s.
