The Arts Council is now inviting artists to submit applications for the 2015/2016 exhibition season.
The Arts Council operates a picturesque Gallery in Queens Park, which features a wide range of visual arts by local and emerging artists in exhibitions which change monthly. The applications will also be considered for our Satellite Galleries.
If you are an artist and are interested in being considered for the period from February 2015 to November 2015, your submission must reach the Gallery Exhibition Selection Committee (GESC) before February 15th 2015.
How to Apply for an Exhibition brochures, that contain an application form, are available for pickup at the Arts Council Gallery in Queens Park or on the Arts Council Website. In general, you will be asked to submit:
- A completed application form
- 8-10 slides, photographs or DVD of your work
- An artist’s statement of the aims and objectives of your work
- A curriculum vitae to establish a better understanding of your background and experience
