Creative BC has announced its 2024/25 Amplify BC programs, supporting the growth, competitiveness, and sustainability of B.C.’s music industry. Here is the list of music programs, with launch dates and deadlines.
- Music Industry Initiatives – Now Open! – Rolling intake until March 1st, 2025
- Record in BC – Now Open! – Rolling intake until October 31st, 2024 – Sign up for an info session.
- Career Development – Opens: July 31st, 2024 | Deadline: September 11th, 2024
- Live Music – Opens: August 21st, 2024 | Deadline: October 2nd, 2024
- Demo Recording – Opens: January 29th, 2025 | Deadline: March 12th, 2025
- Business Foundations– Opens: January 29th, 2025 | Deadline: March 12th, 2025
- Music Company – Opens: March 19th, 2025 | Deadline: April 30th, 2025
Amplify BC programs serve B.C. artists, live music presenters, music companies, and the development of the music industry. The B.C. government established Amplify BC in 2018, and continues to launch programs each year after extensive consultations with the music industry. Creative BC also has established partnerships with Music BC and the First Peoples’ Cultural Council to support the development of B.C.’s music industry.
