His painting style is impressionistic with shimmering vibrant colours, rich textures and detailed brushstrokes with heavy impasto.  Robert’s paintings are representational and comprise a variety of subject matters including landscapes, still life, and figurative work.  He also enjoys studying spiritual and worldly philosophies. All of these influences have created his bold imagery that represents the beauty of spirit in all things.  Robert has attracted a significant following of private and public collectors all over North America, Asia, and Europe.

Artist’s Statement
This exhibition called ‘Nature’s Enchantment’ is of my current works.  In my paintings I want to capture the light and mood of my subject matter.  I want to portray the magic that is in all life, whether it’s a gentle breeze on a warm summer’s day, the radiant colours of a sunset, or the simple elegance of a flower.  Trees have special significance to me.  They have their own personality giving them the uniqueness that inspires me.”
