ABOUT ARTSTOGO:
ArtsToGo is an arts education program for children and their families, run by The Arts
Council of New Westminster as a hands-on, barrier-free and no-cost initiative at various
locations throughout the City of New Westminster. The program is multi-disciplinary in
scope and features a wide range of workshop leaders trained in the visual, literary and
performing arts. Each monthly workshop gives children and their families an opportunity
to work with local artists as they focus on a different art project designed to fit with the
theme of the event, and create their very own interpretation of the project to take home.
ArtsToGo workshops are currently held at the following New Westminster locations:
Lord Kelvin Elementary – workshops take place in the elementary school gymnasium
on Wednesday evenings on March 9, April 27, May 25 and June 22 from 6:30pm to
7:30pm.
Royal City Centre – workshops take place on the 1st Sunday of the month on March 6,
April 3, May 8, June 5, July 3, August 7, September 4, October 2 and November 6 from
noon to 3pm.
