Il Museo at the Italian Cultural Centre is seeking 5 d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing emerging, BIPOC artists interested in developing their artistic practice. If you are interested in learning alternative ways of artmaking, leadership and disability justice informed advocacy, then please apply!
From Hear to Here is a peer engagement program supporting BIPOC d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing (HoH) emerging, BIPOC artists in a co-learning workshop series and exhibition. Each artist will be paired with secondary students from Children’s Hearing and Speech Centre of BC (CHSC) and Vancouver School Districts.
5 spots OPEN! Artists will receive $1,119 for its entirety for participating in the group exhibition and mentorship with artwork production. This is in accordance with the 2025 CARFAC standard fee rate.
