Monochrome Art Project: Green

Four images in monochrome green occupy each corner. ON the top left an abstract wave of teal green wraps around a circular centre piece. ON the top right a dark green bug sits atop a green bottle looking over at a pile of green fruits: Pickles, Beans, and a lime. On the bottom left a photograph of a forest with the hue shifted entirely to deep green. And on the bottom right an abstract tree and roots grow into the wriggly lines of the earth. Green text on a dark green background reads: Monochrome Challenge.

Here are the results of our first Monochrome Art Project, Instagram Challenge!

We invited the community to join us on a monochrome adventure. Each month participants are given a new colour challenge. July was Green!

What is monochrome?
A monochromatic artwork refers to a piece of art that primarily uses a single colour or hue, along with its various shades, tints, and tones.

For example, a monochromatic painting may be created using different shades of purple, ranging from the lightest pastel violet to the deepest plum.
