Monochrome Art Project: Purple

Short purple and blue brushstrokes create abstract clouds and a blue sky over a river.

Here are the results of our first Monochrome Art Project, Instagram Challenge!

We invited the community to join us on a monochrome adventure. Each month participants are given a new colour challenge. June was Purple!

What is monochrome?
A monochromatic artwork refers to a piece of art that primarily uses a single colour or hue, along with its various shades, tints, and tones.

For example, a monochromatic painting may be created using different shades of purple, ranging from the lightest pastel violet to the deepest plum.
