Exhibition Statement
QPPS students explored a variety of materials individually and collaboratively to create colourful, inviting artwork made out of natural materials, recycled objects and loose parts. We worked with string, rope, wire, yarn, beads, buttons, fabric, paint, paper, and wood to create works of art inspired by nature all around us in our beloved Queens Park! Strings and Things celebrates the combination of colour and texture! We hope our cheerful exhibit brightens your day and encourages you to want to spend more time outdoors and then go home and create something special with found treasures that are gifts from Mother Nature herself!
Since 1965 Queen’s Park Preschool has been a part of the New Westminster community offering a high-quality and nurturing preschool program to families living in New Westminster and its surrounding communities.
