The Arts New West (ArtsNW) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the visual, literary and performing arts. Our aim is to bring the community together through the Arts.
The Queen’s Park Summer Concert Series is a highlight of the summer season, offering live music performances in the picturesque setting of Queen’s Park. We also run music programming at New West Craft Market, and Art in Moody Park.
These opportunities are perfect for learning more about audio tech, live events production, stage managing, front of house/audience management, and more!
Volunteer opportunities are dynamic and flexible, and can be suited to a wide variety of skills, interests, and abilities.

Queen’s Park Summer Concert Series Overview:
- Queens Park Summer Concert Series will run Thursdays from 7pm-8pm and Sundays 2pm-4pm. June 16th to July 28th
- Location: Queen’s Park Bandshell
New West Craft Night Market Overview:
- New West Craft Night Market will run the evening of July 20th
- Location: River Market, on the Boardwalk
Art In Moody Park Overview:
- Art in Moody Park will run July 9th, July 23rd, August 9th, and August 20th
- Location: Moody Park

Volunteer Opportunities:
As a volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the success of each concert. Here are some of the roles you may be involved in:
- Event Setup: Assist with setting up chairs, tents, and signage before the concert begins.
- Tech Setup: Shadow/Assist Head Audio Technician with any tasks they require assistance with.
- Guest Services: Welcome attendees, provide information about the event schedule and performers, and assist with any inquiries.
- Help with selling merchandise during the concert.
- Crowd Management: Ensure that the concert area remains safe and orderly, and assist with directing attendees to seating areas.
- Cleanup Crew: Assist with packing up equipment and cleaning the venue after the concert concludes.
