EXHIBITION STATEMENT
The Arts Council of New Westminster’s permanent collection of artwork consists of a variety of styles and mediums of various artists and patrons that have been connected to the Arts Council over the past fifty years. For this year’s exhibition, we are fortunate to be able to feature Raymond Taylor’s series of intricate wood relief cuts made available to us by the Queen’s Park Healthcare Foundation.
Previously on display at Queen’s Park Care Centre, Taylor’s detailed work depicts a number of iconic New Westminster landmarks, scenes and events; three pieces from the series will remain within the ACNW’s permanent collection following the exhibition.
