The Arts New West (ArtsNW) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the visual, literary and performing arts. Its aim is to bring the community together through the Arts. The Arts New West operates The Gallery at Queen’s Park, featuring visual art exhibitions by local, emerging, and established artists, as well as serving as a hub for creatives in New Westminster by hosting a variety of talks, workshops and special events.

About the Gallery:
Established in 1985, the Gallery at Queen’s Park provides exhibition opportunities for artists and serves as administration space for Arts New West. Throughout the year, the gallery hosts twelve exhibitions featuring two-dimensional and three-dimensional artworks across various artistic disciplines. It serves as a platform for artists from the Metro Vancouver region to showcase their work, establish themselves in their careers, and engage the community in the arts.

Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities:
- Greeting visitors and providing information about current exhibitions
- Assisting with event coordination, including opening receptions and artist talks
- Supporting administrative tasks as needed
- Helping to promote gallery events and exhibitions through social media and other channels
- Informing the public about other Arts New West events and programs
