Arts New West presents New West Craft, a curated market celebrating the work of local makers and artisans. We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join us in creating vibrant market experiences for our community.
Event Overview:
- When: First and third Saturday of every month
- Time: 11am to 4pm
- Where: River Market, Downtown New Westminster

- New West Craft is more than just a market – it’s a showcase of the talent and creativity within our community.
- Each market features a curated selection of handmade goods, from art and jewelry to textiles and ceramics, crafted by local makers and artisans.
- It’s an opportunity for both vendors and attendees to connect, support local talent, and celebrate the spirit of creativity.

Volunteer Opportunities:
- Event Setup: Assist with setting up vendor booths, signage, and decorations.
- Guest Services and Information table: Greet attendees, provide information about vendors and market activities, and assist with any inquiries.
- Vendor Support: Help vendors with setup, breakdown, and any assistance they may need throughout the day.
- Crowd Management: Ensure smooth traffic flow and assist with managing crowds during peak times.
- Cleanup Crew: Assist with packing up and cleaning the market area after the event concludes.
